BIG 10 Network
The Big Ten Network is a sports network dedicated to covering college athletics across the Big Ten Conference, offering high quality broadcasts of live sporting events. The network delivers sports broadcasts of all Big Ten sports, where I worked at Purdue University in the spring for some basketball, baseball and volleyball games.

My Role
I worked as a Camera and Vizrt/Graphics Operator for Big Ten Network, covering live on-site Purdue University basketball, baseball, and volleyball game broadcasts. This fast paced environment required full attention to detail to capture the best shot to engage viewers and provide an immersive sports experience.
Broadcast Operations
I worked closely with the production team to ensure that live broadcasts were seamless. In this regard, I manned camera control at many events to make sure there was action-packed framing and grabbing live, energetic moments.
Visual Media Management:
I am also knowledgeable in the operation of Vizrt and graphics systems, where I was responsible for on-screen graphics. These ranged from player statistics, scores, and replays, among others, which were highly necessary to advance the viewer's interest and appreciation of the games.
Content Delivery:
One important part of this experience was to maintain timely and accurate visual content, usually under pressure, with quick decisions and precise execution. That ability helped to deliver quality broadcasts, leading to success in the coverage of Big Ten Network sports.
Team Collaboration:
I worked with producers and other crew members during these live events to maintain the high standards the network expects. My experience at the Big Ten Network gave me invaluable insight into live sports broadcasting, further developing skills in visual storytelling and real-time content management.
